Della Kitchen, 100, 420 W. Fourth, died Tuesday at a local nursing home. She was born Nov. 20, 1887, at Moorefield to Garnet and Martha Beckman Stinnette. She was raised in the Moorefield community and was baptized in 1906 in a church in Farnam.

On June 5, 1910, she married Omar C. Kitchen. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1969.

She joined the Methodist Church in North Platte in 1926, was a member of Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge. Mrs. Kitchen was the last charter member of the Needle Craft Club which was organized in 1937.

Survivors include a brother, Ross Stinnette of Cheyenne, Wyo.; three sisters, Lilly Sweet of Curtis, Vesta Murray of Alpine, Calif. and Zazel Stafford of Cheyenne, Wyo.; a sister-in-law, Myrtle Stinnette of North Platte; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established to the church.

Services are pending with Adams and Swanson Funeral Home.
