Funeral for Esther Emma Robertson, a Nebraska native who recently moved to Gresham, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Carroll Funeral Home, Gresham. Private interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery.

Mrs. Robertson died Tuesay in a local hospital at the age of 79.

Born on Christmas Day in Farnam, Neb., Mrs. Robertson received her education there and worked for several small telephone companies throughout the state. Later, she moved to Encino, Calif., and worked for General Telephone. She and her husband moved to Gresham about two months ago. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Curtis, Neb.

Surviving are her husband, Ellwood R. Robertson; a son, Robert Ellwood Robertson of Gresham; a brother, Robert Pollard of Boulder, Colo.; a sister, Ellen Tillotson of Boulder, Colo.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
