Lyal (Dave) Preston Beck died February 10, 1975, at Eugene, Oregon. He was born August 19, 1911 at Cedar Co., Nebraska.

Lyal was the son of Fred D. and Minnie Alice Murkle Beck. On December 3, 1938 he was married to Gwyn Clay at Gothenburg, Ne.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwyn, who died December 28, 1974, his parents, and three sisters, Emily, Alice and Frances.

Survivors are a son, Lyal C. Beck, two brothers, Leslie of Espanola, New Mexico, and Fred of Farnam, and one sister, Gladys Berry of Laramie, Wyoming.

Burial was at Springfield Memorial Cemetery, Feburary 17, 1975.
