Obituary Collection
Mrs. Gaibler Dead

Myrtle Arsella Bick was born December 19, 1893 at Seward, Seward county, Nebraska, where she lived most of the time until the Angel of Death gathered his reward.

She was united in marriage with J. Christian Gaibler on November 27, 1913 to whom she had proven to be a most loving and willing helper.

She died Sunday, April 16, 1916 at the Emergency hospital at Omaha, eight hours after being moved from the Swedish Mission hospital, at which place she developed a case of scarlet fever 40 hours after being operated upon for appendicities.

Death came as a great shock to the community, as it seemed she was ina perfectly healthy condition.

Her body was shipped to Eustis, at which place it was interred in the German Lutheran cemetery.

Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mr. Gaibler’s father Tuesday April 18, at one o’clock by the Rev. H. H. Pyche of Loomis and at three o’clock in Eustis at the German Lutheran church by the German Lutheran minister.

She leaves to mourn her untimely death a loving husband, father, three sisters and five brothers.
