Obituary
Ida Wollam, daughter of W. C. and Francis O. Wollam, was born in Iowa May 5, 1878, and departed this life in Beaver City February 27, 1948, age 69 years, 9 months, 22 days.
When a child she moved with her parents to Fillmore county, Nebr., and in 1894 came to Frontier co.
She attended Grand Island business college and Shenandoah college and taught school six years.
Sept. 1907, she was united in marriage to James Hathaway and resided in Logan county, Colo. and at Elsie till 1916, when she moved to her parents home. There were born to this union four children , 3 sons and one daughter, Wayne E., who preceded her in death, Lowell D. and James B. of Moorefield, Mrs. Nellie Steel of Boulder, Wyo. Her husband died in 1918.
Others left to mourn her passing are four brothers and one sister, Morris of Corvallis, Mort O. is of Portland Ore., Delbert of Curtis, Otto of Norfolk and Mrs. Amelda Teeters of Lingle, Wyo., five grandchildren and a daughter-in-law Rosemand Hathaway, a host of friends and relatives.
Funeral services were conducted by Elder E. E. Giesler in Methodist church in Farnam Monday, after which she was laid to rest in the Farnam cemetery.
