Charlie A. Harry of Farnam passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 1973, at Curtis. A native of Moorefield, born Aug. 18, 1888, he was 85.

Surviving him are two sisters, Mrs. Ada Thomalla and Mrs. Gracie Funk, both of Farnam; nieces and nephews.

Services were held Monday afternoon at the Church of the Nazarene in Farnam, with the Pastor, Rev. Harold Ellis, officiating. Soloist was Mrs. Larry Jurjens, with Mrs. Wade Craig as accompanist.

Charlie Arthur, son of James and Naomi Lapp Harry, was born on a farm southeast of Moorefield, where he lived until 1963 when he moved to Farnam.

Two years later he moved to the home of his sister, Ada Thomalla, and in September, 1973, because of failing health, he was moved to Sunset Haven at Curtis.

Pallbearers were Elvin Gardner, Bill Thomalla, Mike Thomalla, Gary Thomalla, Steve Thomalla, and Larry Malcolm, and interment was in Moorefield Cemetery. McVay Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangments.
