MRS. S. D. RICE DEAD.
A. S. Boyle received a telegram late Wednesday evening informing him that his sister, Mrs. S. D. Rice, was dead, at Scottsbluff, and he and his wife, accompanied by Heber and Geo. Boyle, left for that place on Thursdays train. Mrs. Rice has been an invalid for a number of years and she and her husband moved from here to Scotts Bluff county about four years ago and settled there because they thought her health better there than here. She had been reasonably well, and the news of her death was a shock to her brothers. Her many friends here grieve at her death and sympathize with husband and children in their affliction.
