Claude Miller
COZAD — A former Cozad area resident, Claude Angeloah Miller, 66, Omaha, died Sunday in an Omaha hospital. He was born Sept. 6, 1913, in York, and spent his early childhood in the Eustis and Farnam areas. Mr. Miller, who had resided in Omaha since the early 1940’s, was a graduate of Kearney State Teaher’s College.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; one son, Major Roger Miller of Wright-Patterson Air Base, Dayton, Ohio; his father and step-mother, Angeloah and June Miller of Hastings; one brother, Quentin of Abilene, Texas; four sisters, Jean Church of Clarksville, Ind., Zoe Derra of Farnam, Rachel Eineman of Oceanside, Calif., Yolanda Davis of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and one step-siter, Kay Kile of Utica.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Farnam, with the Rev. Karl Lent officiating. Burial will be in East Church Cemetery, Eustis.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. today at the Berryman Funeral Home, Cozad.
