CALDWELL ‐ Services for Mary Elizabeth Hazen, 82, Fresno, Calif., formerly of Caldwell, who died Thursday at a Fresno nursing home, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Caldwell Flahiff Chapel by the Rev. Philip Kinkel, Caldwell. Interment will be in Canyon Hill Cemetery.

She was born April 10, 1894, in Nebraska. She married Sylvester Hazen Nov. 6, 1912, at Stockville, Neb. They lived in Nebraska until they moved to Caldwell in 1950. Mrs. Hazen had since lived in California.

She attended the United Methodist Church and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Reefy Beery and Mrs. Edna Beery, both Fresno; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
