Dale O. Adkisson, 50, of North Platte, died Tuesday in the veterans hospital, at Fort Mead, S.D. He was born Feb. 23, 1922, at Farnam, where he also attended school, moving to Ogallala in 1952. He came to North Platte in 1955, and had resided in this community since. Mr. Adkisson was employed by the State of Nebraska Dept. of Roads as a mechanic until 1966, and later was employed by Bryan Prowett. He then retired in 1967 due to ill health.

Survivors include four sons, Larry D. and Dennis D. of North Platte, John O. of Hershey, and Steven H. of Sutherland; one daughter, Mrs. Vicky Trisdale of Sutherland; two brothers, Harold of Farnam, and Harry of Hastings; five sisters, Mrs. Herb (Zella) Messersmith, Mrs. Harold (Stella) Lehman, and Mrs. Edna Hathaway, all of Farnam, Mrs. Merlin (Lula) Stapp of Bartley, and Mrs. Jack (Hazel) Lilyhorn of Holdrege; and seven grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home.
