Albert Stephen Boyle
Albert Stephen Boyle, age 72, a Nebraska pioneer, died at his home in Bradshaw Sunday afternoon October 12, 1930 at 1:30 o’clock, following a serious illness of about two weeks. Mr. Boyle had been in failing health for sometime but was confined to his bed only a short time prior to his death. His parents were John Stewart and Mary Jane (Ford) Boyle. Albert was born June 9, 1858 at Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. He was united in marriage with Mary Louisa/e Fisher on November 8, 1883 at Saybrook, McLean County, Illinois.
Mr. Boyle, with his family, came from Illinois to Nebraska and spent the early years of residence in this state at Farnam. Later he moved to Weeping Water and three years ago, he moved to Bradshaw where he had since made his home.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Boyle, two daughters, Mrs. F. A. Tindall and Mrs. Lemuel Lincoln, both of Bradshaw, four sons; James Boyle of Bradshaw, Howard S. Boyle residing on a farm near McCool, Roy and Frank Boyle, both of Cozad, and two brothers, George and Heber S. Boyle, both of Farnam. [A son, Allen, and a daughter, Mary Ellen, preceded him in death and are both buried in the Farnam cemetery.]
Funeral services will be held a the Methodist church in Bradshaw Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Rev. George A. Morey, pastor of the Methodist church at Weeping Water, assisted by Rev. Elliot, pastor of the Bradshaw church, will have charge of the service. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery near York.
