Funeral services were held at Greeley, Colorado, December 19 for Newton L. Miller, who passed away at that place December 16. He had been in poor health for a number of years as a result of stomach cancer, which caused his untimely death at the age of 47.

Newton was well known in this area, having lived here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller, on a farm 12 miles southwest of Farnam for about 15 years.

His wife was the former Mildred Armitage, also of that neighborhood.
