Gene Lange
Gene Lange was born July 4, 1928 at Callaway, Nebraska. He grew up at Callaway and lived at North Platte before moving to Arlington in 1960.
He was a semi-truck driver for Sun Pacific Trucking Co. in Omaha, Nebraska.
He married Dorothy Clement, a native of Farnam, Nebraska, on November 26, 1946 at Norton, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Lange.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of Arlington; three sons, Douglas Lange of Chapman, David Lange of Arlington and Kent Lange of Fremont; three daughters, Marcia (Mrs. Steve) Marsee of San Diego, California; Connie (Mrs. Walter) Hank and Jetta (Mrs. Gary) Morrison, both of Arlington; his mother, Flora Lange of Lexington, Nebraska; three brothers, Junior Lange of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Jerry Lange of Longview, Washington and Larry Lange of North Platte, Nebraska; three sisters, Lily Mae Lange and Wanda (Mrs. Glen) Mullin, both of Lexington, and Norma (Mrs. Don) Thornburg of North Platte; and fifteen grandchildren.
Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15 at Arlington Community Church in Arlington for Gene Lange, 61 who died March 10, 1990 in a semi-truck accident south of Quincy, California. Rev. Robert Saunders will officiate. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 14, from 6 — 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home.
