GOTHENBURG — Edward Beery, 89, died Saturday afternoon in the Gothenburg Memorial Hospital. He was born July 28, 1880, in Page County, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen; seven sons, Arvel, Curtis; Lloyd, Laramie, Wyo.; Glenn and Dale, both of Fresno, Calif.; Donald, Gothenburg; Loren, Van Nuys, Calif., and Howard, Ft. Morgan, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Inez Howard, Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Esther Brunson, Custer City, Okla.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Farnam Methodist Church with the Rev. Dale Brunson officiating.

Burial will be in the Cambridge Cemetery with McVay Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
