Bertha J. Wolf
Bertha J Wolf, 95, died Apr. 6, 1989, in the Gothenburg hospital.
She was born Jan. 31, 1894 in Eustis. She grew up in the rural Eustis area. April 23, 1914, she married William (Bill) Wolf. They lived on a farm six miles east of Farnam until 1950 when they moved to Eustis.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969. She made her home at the Gothenburg Long Term Care Center for the past three years.
Mrs. Wolf was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and Mary Martha Circle in Eustis. She was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 257 of Eustis.
Mrs. Wolf also was preceded in death by one son, seven sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include two sons, Arthur and Gladys Wolf of Farnam, Howard and Jo Wolf of Gilbert, Ariz.; two daughters, Wilma (Mrs. Irvin) Van Dalsem of La Jolla, Calif., and Julie (Mrs. Ernest) Yardley of San Marcos, Calif.; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Eustis with Pastor Harold Gronstal officiating. Burial was in the East Church Cemetery in Eustis.
A memorial has been established.
Berryman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
