Carrie Agnes Winters was born at Bartley, Nebr., September 28, 1897, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Winters. At the age of three years her mother died and she made her home with a grandmother in Rock county, Kansas. Her Father died when she was 13 years of age.

She was married to Arthur Vance, February 15, 1917, at Stockton, Kan., and lived in Omaha, Nebr., until last December, when she came to Farnam to visit relatives.

She was taken ill, April 21 and died at 12:22 o'clock April 28; age 20 years and seven months. She was a loving wife and made friends wherever she was known, and her last request was that they should meet as an unbroken family in heaven where she goes to join her mother and father.

She leaves to mourn her loss a loving husband, sister, brother and other relatives, besides many friends.
