Helen Wharton, of Scottsbluff, formerly of Farnam passed away Friday, July 31, 1987.

Wharton was born and raised in Farnam and graduated from Farnam high school. She was a teacher for several years. She has spent the last few years in a care home.

Wharton's survivors include: sisters, Naomi Ferris of Murray, Ky., Bessie Vig of Port Hueneme, Calif., Florence Greenlee, of Jesup, Iowa, Martha Black, of Norris City, Ill.; brother, Harold Wharton, of Scottsbluff.
