Ella Marie Tanner, widow of Cassius R. Tanner, was born January 13, 1903, at Loup City, Nebraska.

She attended college at Nebraska Wesleyan University, and was a teacher at Fairbury, Nebraska and Burke, South Dakota.

She was married to Reverend Tanner on January 6, 1926, at Tekamah, Nebraska. Their sons are Eldon E. and Neil F. Tanner.

During Reverend Tanner's ministry, they served churches at Whitman, Lakeside, Farnam, Ingham, Potter, Tekamah, Elwood, Plainview, Morrill and Scottsbluff. He retired April 1960, and died November 1961.

Mrs. Tanner died August 29, 1985 with services and interment at Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Dr. Gordon Patterson officiated.
