Charles F. Speck, 81, died Friday, Aug. 13, 1993, at the Redmond, OR Health
Care Center.
A memorial service was held Tuesday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Redmond, Rev. David Barnet officiating.
Charles F., son of Peter and Mary (Devine) Speck, was born Aug. 17, 1911, at Farnam. After service in the Army during World War II, he worked as foreman for many years on the 96 Cattle Ranch. Later he moved to Oregon and became a millworker.
His marriage to Meredith M. Harm took place in Lexington in 1946.
Survivors include his wife, Meredith of Redmond; sons, Kirby and Michael of Redmond and Kent of San Diego, CA; daughters, Barbara Williams of Terrebonne, OR and Laurel Speck of Redmond; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; sisters, Geneva Malick of Redmond and Margaret Griffith of Birmingham, AL.
