Ines I Schleeman
Ines Irene Schleeman, 79, of Farnam, formerly of Gothenburg, died on May 26, 2008 at Gothenburg.
Ines was born on February 18, 1929 at Culbertson, NE to William Henry and Mable Lee (Brundage) Butter. She grew up in Culbertson and graduated from Culbertson High School in 1947.
Ines married Herman Schleeman on March 21, 1948 at Trenton, NE. After their marriage they lived in the McCook area until 1960 when they moved to Gothenburg. Ines moved to Farnam in 2001.
Ines worked as a bookkeeper for an Ag Fertilizer Business, Block & Deaver, and later Deaver & Rowan. She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church. She enjoyed reading, all sports and her grandchildren.
Ines is survived by her daughter Connie and her husband Clayton Earll of Farnam, NE; 5 grandchildren: Susie (Phil) Walker, Jason Earll, Robert (Kyla) Earll and Buddi (Jim) Myers; 9 great grandchildren; a special nephew and his wife Bill (Betty) Butter.
She was preceded by her sons Richard Lee Schleeman and Robert Fred Schleeman, her brothers Paul Butter and Isaac Butter, her parents, and a grandson Scott Earll.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 29, 9:00 a.m.—8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m.—8:00 p.m. at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 30, 11:00 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church, Gothenburg, Nebraska, with Pastor Rick Rehmert officiating.
Burial will take place in the Gothenburg Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Farnam Library.
