Frank N. Reeves
Frank Nelson Reeves was born September 21, 1897, at Ridgeway, Missouri, and passed from this life on February 9, 1960, in Tampa, Florida. He was the son of Nelson Grant Reeves and Jesse Louise Reeves.
He came to Farnam, Nebraska in 1905 where he grew to manhood. He enlisted in the army on July 30, 1917, where he served for two years in World War I, overseas service.
Upon returning to Farnam, he was married to Marie Banks on January 1, 1921. They moved to Gothenburg in 1926, Frank entered the Postal Service the same year. He has served in that capacity until his death.
He was a member of the Gothenburg First Methodist Church of Gothenburg and the V.F.W.
Survivors include: his wife, Marie; his son, Clark and wife Rosetta; his grandchildren, Lynn and Steven, all of North Platte; four sisters: Mrs. Jennie Jones of Farnam, Mrs. Jessie Ammons of Nampa, Ida; Mrs. Sadie Weik of Norfold, Nebr.; Mrs. Della Mansfield of Boise, Ida.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 16th, 2:00 p.m. at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Lawrence Bratt officiating. Glenn Bryant, Richard ____ and Homer Loutzenheiser provided the music, accompanied at the organ by John W. Greene, Jr. Pallbearers were Earl Edson, Cal Bowman, Joe Lyons, Vern Lundstrom, Gene Tarr, and Mac Austin. Interment was at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery with Military Honors by V.F.W. Post No. 5132. McVay-Olesen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Fatal Injuries Come to F. Reeves
Frank N. Reeves, of Gothenburg, was struck by a car Sunday morning on a church yard in Tampa, Florida, where he and Mrs. Reeves were vacationing.
Mr. Reeves died Tuesday morning.
Frank has been an employed with the Postal Department in Gothenburg for many years, he was planning to retire next summer.
Others injured included Reeves' 60-year old wife Marie and 6-year old Rhea Reeves. Mrs. Reeves and the child did not require hospitalization.
