Graveside services for Barney G. Ragsdale will be Friday, April 2, 1993 at 10:00 a.m. at Fort McPherson National Cemetery.

He died Dec. 22, 1992 in Mercy Hospital in Atwater, CA, at the age of 65.

Born Nov. 2, 1927, at Farnam to Clarence A. and Esther (Brasch) Ragsdale, he was a 1945 graduate of Farnam High School. He served in the U. S. Army for two years and the U. S. Air Force for 25 years. On June 19, 1954, he married Ruth Ann Wallace at Tampa, FL. While serving in the military, he served in the Presidio in San Francisco, North Africa, Guam, Japan and the United Kingdom. He retired as a weapons specialist in 1975.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann of Atwater; three daughters, Pamela Orlando of Petaluma, CA, Teresa Ragsdale of Fresno, CA and Carol Williams of Hornitos, CA; a son, Martin Gene of Novato, CA; his mother, Esther Ragsdale of Gothenburg; a sister, Betty Butler of Gothenburg; five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence A. Ragsdale.
