Olive M. Porter
Olive M. Porter passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday November 20, 2004.
She was born July 6, 1914 in Farnam, Nebraska to Sidney Irvin and Elizabeth Mae Smith. She was married to Clifford S. Porter for 20 years, who preceded her in death. Olive was active in Eastern Star and held many high offices for many years. She enjoyed doing fine needlework and knitting for her family and friends. She retired from Hill Air Force Base after 35 years of service in many differing capacities in which her tenacious work ethic shone through.
She is survived by her daughter and four sons; Gay Strickland (Bill) of Glendale, AZ; Clifford (Nancy) Bountiful; Roger (Kathy) Tucson, AZ; Lynn (Carolyn) Bountiful; Ron (Jo) Colorado Springs, CO; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
A family viewing will be held 11:00 - 11:45 a.m. Friday, November 26th at the Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary followed by Graveside Service and Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Salt Lake City, Utah.
