Deloras Bunstock
CEDAR BLUFFS, Kan. — Deloras Cross Nickerson-Bunstock, 74, of Cedar Bluffs, Kan., formerly of Farnam, died Sept. 29, 2003, in her home in Cedar Bluffs.
She was born Feb. 9, 1929, to Fred and Pearl Mosley Cross at home in Moorefield. She grew up on a farm east of Moorefield and graduated from Farnam High School in 1947. She and her sister, Audrey sang for many occasions around the area.
In 1951, she married Gene Nickerson of Farnam. To this union three daughters were born, Candice Jean, Yolanda Dee, And Jackelyn Kim. Gene was killed in a farm accident on Aug 25, 1955. She and her daughters moved to Gothenburg, where she worked for Nebraska Public Power District until 1975. She was a very loving and devoted mother to her three daughters.
On Dec 27, 1975, she married Richard Bunstock at Cedar Bluffs, Kan. To this union she brought her three daughters and Richard, his son, James. To her, living in Cedar Bluffs was like Heaven on earth. The serenity and wildlife of the area gave her such joy. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens.
Mrs. Bunstock’s survivors include her husband Richard; three daughters, Candice (Paul) Arent of Loveland, Colo., Yolanda (Ron) Weimer of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Jackelyn (Pete Palek) Nickerson of Cedar Bluffs, Kan.; a son, James (Kerin) Bunstock of Lincoln; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Audrey Kotchwar; and a brother, Gordon (Gladys) Cross; and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation and dispersal will be private. The celebration of her life visitation will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 11, 2003, at her home in Cedar Bluffs, Kan.
