Leo S. Mowrey, 80, died Feb. 19, 1992, at a Loveland nursing home.

He was born in Dighton, Kan., on Sept. 20, 1911, to Charley and Flora Mowrey. He married Edna Vang on March 25, 1937.

Mr. Mowrey was a farmer before moving to Loveland in 1959 where he was a house painter.

Survivors include his wife, Edna; three sons and wives, Lynn and Terri of Englewood, Colo., Rex of Littleton, Colo., and Bruce and Elaine of Elizabeth, Colo.; two daughters, Joann Warrington of Denver and Peggy Mauer of Loveland; two sisters, Lucille Speck of Gothenburg and Wanda Holmes of Brighton Colo.; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The body was cremated.
