GREELEY, Colo. - Dennis George Kjar, 65, of Galeton died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Galeton Community Church. Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kearney (Neb.) Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Galeton Community Church.

Allnutt Funeral Service in Fort Collins is in charge of arrangements.

He was born July 26, 1941, in Farnam, Neb., to Christian Kronborg and Dorothy Kjar.

Survivors include his brother, Raymond of Irvine, Calif.; and sisters, Janice Peck of Fort Collins and Arlene Unruh of Wallace, Neb.

Additional survivors include his sister-in-law, Sandi Kjar of Irvine; brothers-in-law, Jack Peck of Fort Collins and Robert Unruh of Wallace; two nephews; four nieces; six great-nephews; and six great-nieces.

He lived at Farnam, Gothenburg, Funk, Axtell and Kearney in Nebraska before moving to Fort Collins. He had lived the last 15 years at Triangle Cross Ranch in Galeton.

He had always been active in church, Bible studies and Special Olympics. He touched the lives of many people with his love and compassion. He always openly shared his love for Christ and looked forward to eternal life with his Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
