Jessie M. Jones
Jessie M. Jones of Farnam, and former North Platte resident, died Sunday in Harlingen, Texas where she had been spending the winter months with her husband.
She came to North Platte in 1921, living here until 1951 when she moved to Farnam. Her husband, Wells C. Jones, was a former Lincoln County Attorney.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Bill F. (Beatrice) Wright, North Platte, two brothers, Harold and James Oliver, both of Dade City, Fla., one sister, Mrs. Charles Pollard, Farnam; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services for Jessie Mae Jones were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Adams and Swanson Chapel with Dr. Hughes B. Morris, pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating.
Music was provided by Mrs. Harold Weaver and Mrs. Robert Getty.
Honorary pallbearers were Milo Dancer, Russell Derryberry, A. H. Ellett, Fred Schlemmer and Paul Tomsen.
Active pallbearers were John Conrey, Tom Hanna, Stanley Rubin, Charles Leth, Kenneth Oman and J. M. White.
Burial was in the North Platte cemetery.
