Lillian Mary (Bush) Johnson
Lillian Mary Johnson, 83, of McCook and formerly of the Farnam/Gothenburg/Lexington area, died Wednesday, April 18, 1990, at the Kearney hospital.
She was born Jan. 8, 1907, at Juniata to Adoniram Judson and Florence Estella (Green) Bush and was a graduate of Bartley High School. She married Knowles E. Johnson on Aug. 22, 1927, at Max.
Mrs. Johnson had been a resident of McCook for 12 years where she was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Marion of Curtis; two daughters, Lorraine Warner of Gothenburg and Elaine Holliday of Lexington; a brother, Lamoine Bush of McCook; four sisters, Verna Alley and Myrtle Ruppert, both of McCook, Pearl Jennings of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Georgia Quaintance of Sunnyside, Wash.; 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Jerold; and a sister, Lucy Walsch.
Services will be Saturday 1:30 p.m. at the Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home in McCook with the Rev. Theodore Wendt officiating. Graveside services will be 4:30 p.m. at the American Lutheran Cemetery at Gothenburg.
A memorial has been established to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
