Obituary Collection
Lois (White) Ihfe

Lois Estelle Ihfe, 100, of Dallas Texas, beloved by all, peacefully went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, surrounded by her immediate family. She was born to John T. White and Minnie Belle Knight White on July 23, 1914 in Kirkland, Texas.

She graduated from Kirkland High School and graduated the nursing program of Northwest Texas Hospital, Amarillo, Texas where she received her Nursing Diploma certifying her as a Registered Nurse in 1943. She was married to Claude Fred Ihfe for 43 years from December 31, 1942 until his death in 1985. She nursed for over 40 years, serving in numerous nursing positions for civilian and military hospitals within and without the continental United States. She was an active member of Sunset Ridge Church of Christ for over 20 years. The great loves of her life were her Lord, her husband Claude, her children, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by three children: son, Richard H. Ihfe and wife, Janet; daughter, Annabelle Jeanette Dyll and husband, James W. Dyll and son, Larry Edward Ihfe and wife, Pamela Jane Ihfe; nine grandchildren, Larry Michael Ihfe, Jason Fredrick Ihfe, Gretchen Elaine Minchey, Kristen Elaine Biggins, Karl Richard Ihfe, Gary Richard Ihfe, Timothy James Dyll, Nicole Annalois Story, and Crystal Roseann Dyll; fifteen great grandchildren, Connor Michael Ihfe, Colton Ray Ihfe, Claire Denise Ihfe, Jesse Derek Minchey, Lauren Elaine Minchey, Casey Derek Minchey, Kobe Derek Minchey, Gabriel Richard Ihfe, Hallie Denise Ihfe, Abigail Elaine Biggins, Ava Elaine Biggins, Lydia Sharon Ihfe, Liliana Elizabeth Ihfe, Levi Fredrick Ihfe and Grace Avery Ihfe; numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and a multitude of friends.

The family will receive guests at Sunset Ridge Church of Christ on Friday, August 29, 2014 beginning at 9:30 a.m.
