A lifetime resident of Stockville, William 'Bill' Hopkins, 52, died Friday, July 30, 1982, at the McCook hospital. He was born June 23, 1930 at Juniata.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Stockville; one daughter, Ronda of North Platte; one son, Bruce of Stockville; two brothers, Dale of Denver, Colo., and Gary of Lakewood, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Colleen Ehlers of Moorefield and Karen Oliver of Loveland, Colo.; and his mother, Mrs. Norma Hopkins of Farnam.

Services will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Congregational Church in Stockville with the Rev. LeRoy Cook officiating. Burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell.

Wetzel Funeral Home in Curtis is in charge of arrangements.
