No service will be held for Maye P. Frederici, who died May 5, 1997, at 93.

Mrs. Frederici was born Jan. 13, 1904, in Farnam, Neb. Her maiden name was Beisner. She graduated from high school in North Platte, Neb. In 1925, she married Paul; he died in 1988. They moved to Portland in 1943.

She operated a sewing machine for Jantzen Inc. for 20 years and retired in 1967.

Surviving are her son, Harley of Portland; daughters, Mary J. Forman, Shirley Mercer and Irene Snider, all of Portland, and Rita J. Lambert of Oregon City; 23 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests remembrances to the Alzheimer's Association.
