This community was greatly shocked at the news of the death of Mrs. Shem Egbert last Sunday morning.

Saturday morning a son arrived at the Egbert home and all concerned were believed to be doing nicely, but complications put in their appearance early Sunday morning, and almost before help could be summoned, Mrs. Egbert was dead.

She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and three sons.

The remains were taken to Gothenburg Sunday and was shipped to Watson, Missouri for burial.

Mr. Egbert and children have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
