M. Clark Duncan
Word was received here Saturday morning that M. Clark Duncan of Schuyler, Nebraska had passed away. He had operated a lumber yard in Farnam about fifty years ago.
He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. E. B. (Maude) Lewis. Services were held Tuesday morning at Schuyler.

Retired lumber dealer dies at hospital
Clark E. Duncan, 73, retired Schuyler lumber dealer, died Friday at Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health the past year and entered the hospital Jan. 12.
Funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David A. Cunningham sang appropriate hymns. Miss Bozena Novotny was organist.
Committal service was conducted by his nephew, Rev. Jerry McInnis of Lincoln, at 3 p.m., at Ravenna Cemetery. Svoboda Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Frank Kramar, Louis A. Kramar, Edward E. Blatny, Thomas Horak and Lewis Abraham of Schuyler and Carl E. Landgren of Columbus.
Clark Edgar Duncan son of George W. and Susan Duncan, was born Dec. 12, 1891, in Poole. He attended school at Ravenna. On June 4, 1915, he and Miss Nell Swan were married in Geneva. He was employed in the lumber business in Kansas City several years and later operated a lumber business at Broken Bow. He came to Schuyler in 1941 to manage Schuyler Lumber & Coal Co. He retired about 18 months ago when his health begain to fail. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Masons, and Rotary.
He is survived by his widow; two sons, Clark Jr. of Chicago and Col. Bruce, with the U.S. Air Force in England; seven grandchildren; a brother, F. Duncan of Oklahoma City; and a sister, Helen, Mrs. Bert McInnis of Ravenna.
