Amy C. Davis
Amy C. Davis, 95 of Cozad, Nebraska, passed away on June 21, 2007, at the Golden LivingCenter in Cozad.
She was born September 3, 1911, in Palmer, Nebraska, to Arthur and Orpha Cantrall Lake. She attended school at Farnam, Nebraska, and Brady, Nebraska.
In 1932, she married Howard Davis. Amy lived the remainder of her life in Cozad. During her lifetime, she had worked at Cozad restaurants and the Cozad Hospital. She was also a Stanley Products dealer from 1992 to 2005.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She did volunteer work at the care home and provided many lap robes she made for the residents. She also had an extensive collection of salt and pepper shakers which totaled 432 sets.
Survivors include her son, Leo (Neoma) Davis of Cozad; a daughter, Leah Mae Votruba of Cozad; two sisters, Nona Belle Hagen of Seward, Nebraska, and Opal Magnuson of Lexington, Nebraska; 28 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and a niece, Leona (Bob) Ottman of Kearney, Nebraska.
Amy was preceded in death by a son, Arthur; a daughter, LaDonna Brogan; two sisters, Mildred Franks and Zada Heine; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2007, at the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Irwin Edwards and Jeremy Jech officiating. Burial was in the Cozad Cemetery.
Berryman Funeral Home of Cozad was in charge of arrangements.
