Lynn E. Crossgrove, 82, of 1119 No.66, Lincoln, Nebraska died Tuesday Oct. 17, 1978.

He was born in a sod house near Farnam, Nebraska July 11, 1897 and was the youngest of five children. He is survived by three children, Roger of Storrs, Conn., Ardyce Owen and Dale of Lincoln, two sisters-Nora LaBounty of Kearney and Jennie Messersmith of Midland, TX, eight grandchildren and one great grand-daughter.

He was preceeded in death by his wife, Iva E. Spangler Crossgrove.

The burial was in Lincoln Memorial Park.

Lynn lived in Farnam until 1945 when he moved with his family to Washington, Kansas, and a short time to Lincoln.

He had a heart attack in 1969, had heart surgury July 11, 1978 and actual death later was due to cancer.

Lynn was a cheerful, friendly person who will be missed by his many friends and relatives.
