Richard Ray "Rick", a 48 year resident of Hawthorne passed away on Friday, January 17, 2003 in Perris, CA. Born in Farnam, NE, Rick was 54. He served in the Army during Vietnam. He had been a truck driver for PSC (formerly Rho-Chem) for over 22 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Buker of Hawthorne, CA; son, Kristopher Buker of Orange, CA; father, Frank (Nancy) Buker of Battlefield, MO; mother, Ruth Hills of Roseville, CA; along with sisters, Rogene Fox of Sacramento, Nita Coleman of Bouse, AZ, Doris Wegner of Prospect, OR, Stephanie (Mark) Ferguson of Clovis, CA, Donna Miller of Missouri; and brother, Erick Buker of Battlefield, MO.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 1:00pm at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd in Torrance.
