Donald N. Beisner, 70 of 2202 West D, a retired carpenter, died Saturday in a local hospital.

Born Jan. 3, 1899 at Farnam [to Henry D. and Henrietta Beisner], he was a graduate of Farnam High School. Mr. Beisner came to North Platte in 1918 and had lived here since except for two years at Hastings. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Platte Valley Lodge No. 32, AF & AM.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie; one daughter, Mrs. Frederick (Marie) Raetz of Gothenburg; and one grandson.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Adams and Swanson Funeral Home with the Rev. Warren Spellman, associate pastor of the First Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in North Platte Cemetery. The casket will not be open following services.
