Obituary Collection
Arthur G. Aden

Services for Arthur G. Aden, 83, will be Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m. at the American Lutheran Church in Gothenburg with Rev. David Sites and Rev. Brian Bergum officiating. Interment will be in the Gothenburg Cemetery.

Aden died Sunday, Feb. 23rd, at Gothenburg Memorial Hospital.

Music will be furnished by Georgia Nelson and Janet Hass.

Casket bearers will be Kent Aden, Mark Aden, Matthew Aden, Troy Mannon, Mike Aden, Jim Aden, Todd Mannon, Dennis Clark, Todd Houchin and Steve Gokie.

Arthur G., son of Jurgen and Elizabeth Lambertus Aden, was born April 2,1902 at Gothenburg. He married Hanna Aden Aug. 24, 1927 in Gothenburg. He served as chairman of the Farmland Service Coop Board for 20 years,was a member of Lutheran Brotherhood and a former council member of the American Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Hanna; three sons, Rodney of Gothenburg, Roger of Farnam, and Keith of Gothenburg; one daughter Karen Mannon of Gothenburg; Two sisters, Alice (Mrs. Walter) Hecox of Gothenburg and Lillian (Mrs. Jim) Cooper of Marshalltown, IA; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Three sisters and his parents preceded him in death.

A memorial has been established to the American Lutheran Church.
