Jeremy Joe Widick

Jeremy Joe Widick, 37, of Lincoln, died Oct. 22, 2010, at Tabitha in Lincoln, as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born March 31, 1973 in Omaha, son of Douglas and Linda (Griffith) Widick.

Jeremy attended Medicine Valley Schools and graduated with the class of 1991. He then enrolled in the Electrician program at Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte. Jeremy worked as an Apprentice for Nebraskaland Electric and then moved to Louisiana where he received his Journeyman license. Returning to Nebraska in 1994, he worked as an electrician in many gasohol building projects. He also met his sweetheart, Adrienne, and they married on June 29, 1996, in Curtis. They moved to Lincoln where he established Widick Electric electrical contracting company. Jeremy loved people, visiting, fishing, and traveling. Jeremy was loved by many friends and family. He will be missed every day.

Surviving are wife, Adrienne Widick of Lincoln; parents, Doug and Linda Widick of Curtis; brother, Justin (Jenny) Widick of Plattsmouth; sister, Kristy (Brian) Evans of Ashby; parents-in-law, Scott Ellana Weeth; grandparents-in-law, Rodney Margaret Weeth; sisters-in-law, Tina Weeth of North Platte, Kendra (Shawn) Bonini, and Trisha Weeth; brother-in-law, Cory Weeth; along with 17 nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents Ellis and Lois Widick of Farnam and Sherman and Katherine Griffith of Broken Bow.

Services will be held at Curtis Community Center, Curtis, on Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Brian Nicklas officiating. Interment will follow in the Farnam Cemetery, Farnam.

Visitation will be held at Blase-Wetzel-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Curtis, on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, from 2-8 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 p.m.

Contributions in memorial may be made to the Nebraska Children's Home.
