Lonnie McClellen
Lonnie Neil McClellen, 73, of Cozad, Nebraska, died July 24, 2014 at Haven Home in Kenesaw, NE.
Lonnie was born June 9, 1941 in North Plate, NE, to Walter Homer and Ila Mable (Daniels) McClellen.
He attended school at Jeffery Queen south of Brady and attended Gothenburg High School later getting his GED.
Lonnie Married Kathaleen Kay Kotschwar on Aug. 1, 1969 at the First Baptist Church in Gothenburg, NE.
Lonnie was a member of the Custer Masonic Lodge 148 and the Tehama Shriner's. He loved to collect a variety of things and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Lonnie and Kathy enjoyed going to garage sales, junk jaunts and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Kathaleen McClellen of Cozad, NE; sons Timothy Neil (Frances) McClellen of Gothenburg; Lonnie Neil (Karen) McClellen Olathe, KS; Clyde Daniels "Mac" (Maggie) McClellen of Farnam; daughter, Nyla Kayleen McClellen of Minden; grandchildren Travis James McClellen of Ogallala, Megan Elizabeth (Josh) Sitorius of Ogallala, McKenzie Siann Czaplewski of Minden, Keegan Neil McClellen of Olathe, KS, McKayla Kayleen Czaplewski of Minden, Griffin Lee McClellen of Olathe, KS, and Traelin James Christensen of Minden; great grandchildren Chandler Timothy Sitorius and Lorelie Jo Sitorius; brothers, Lysle (Velma) McClellen of Elm Creek; Burnell (Sonda) McClellen of Brady; cousin Leon Page of Waverly.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Colleen McClellen, brothers Merrill McClellen and Lorrin McClellen; cousins Larry Page and Frances Brown.
Visitation will be held at Lonestar Cowboy Church; Tuesday, July 29, 2014 9:30 am - 10:30 am.
Services will be held at Lonestar Cowboy Church, Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:30 am with Gregg Boller officiating.
Burial will follow in the Farnam Cemetery, Farnam, Nebraska.
