Elmer J. Knisley Laid to Rest Here Tuesday

The remains of Elmer J. Knisley, who passed away at the St. Elizabeth hospital in Lincoln Saturday afternoon, were brought here Tuesday morning for burial. Funeral services were held from the Baptist church at 2:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. W. W. Crabtree, pastor of the church, and the remains were laid to rest in the Farnam cemetery. The obituary follows:

Elmer John Knisley was born July 25, 1895 near Ripply, in Greene county, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Miss Meroa Caster, of Farnam, Nebr., Sept. 17, 1914 and to this union 7 children were born, 2 children having preceded him in death [Victor, Veria].

He departed from this life Jan. 26, at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Elizabeth hospital at Lincoln, Nebr. He was 33 years, 8 months and 7 days of age. He leaves to mourn his death, his widow and five children. His father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John Knisley and sister Blanche, of Cairo, Nebraska and two brothers, Clarence and Alvin Knisley, of Redwood Falls, Minn., also his wife’s people, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Caster and family, of Farnam, Nebraska.
