Elizabeth McCanagha Teel was born in Ohio, June 27, 1860 and was married there to Austin Teel. They resided at Farnam for many years. Mr. Teel preceding her in death. He passed away Sept. 11, 1927.

Her health was very poor for sometime, and she passed away Wednesday evening, Sept. 29, 1937 at about 7 o'clock. The term of her life being 77 years, 3 months and 2 days. All was done for her that kindly hands could do.

She leaves to mourn her passing a few relatives among them are Mr. and Mr. Charles L. Teel, St. Libory, Nebr: Mrs. Maude Smith, Brady Island, Nebr.: Mrs. Dell Heath and Mrs. Harry Heath of Broadwater, Nebr.: Mrs. Mary Hagberg and husband of Gothenburg, and Mrs. Flora Bennett, Paradise, Calif.; and many friends in Farnam.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Methodist church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Fred H. Johnson. Interment was in the Farnam cemetery.
