Aurie V. Zysset
Aurie Valley Zysset, 89, a lifetime resident
of Frontier County, died Feb. 22, 1998, at
the Cambridge Manor.
She was born April 3, 1908, at Freedom to
Jesse and Alma Wymore Buker. She graduated
from Havana Rural High School and also
attended Peru State College.
On April 3, 1932, she married Carl C. Zysset
at McCook. He preceded her in death on
July 8, 1983.
Mrs. Zysset was a loyal member of the
Evangelical United Brethren Church of
Orafino while it was in existence and
later joined the United Methodist Church
of Eustis. She was a kind and thoughtful
wife and a gentle, loving and dedicated
mother, whose first thought was always
for her family.
Survivors include five daughters, Evelyn
(Dale) Wolf of Blacksburg, Va., Bonnie
Jeanne Herrick of North Platte, Lorene
(Joe) Raburn of Minden, Janice Quinn of
Aurora, Colo., and Ruth (Don) Crum of
Boulder City, Nev.; two sons, Mervin (Jo)
of Farnam and Paul (Enid) of Cody;
two sisters, Esther Wagner of San Diego
and Eva Herman of Brady; two brothers,
Jay Buker of Curtis and Frank Buker of
Brookline Station, Mo.; 26 grandchildren;
48 great-grandchildren; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death was a son,
Kenneth Robert; a sister, Mary Hassel;
three brothers, Guy, Rex and Roy Buker;
two granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the
Farnam United Methodist Church with the
Revs. Art Phillips and Eugene Beye
officiating. Burial will be in the Farnam
Cemetery.
Wetzel Funeral Home of Curtis is in charge.
