Howard William Wilmeth
Howard Wm. Wilmeth was born near Stockville, Nebraska, August 21, 1901 and departed this life on September 7, 1949 at Gothenburg, Nebraska. at the age of 48 years and 16 days.
At the age of 12 years he moved with his parents to a farm north of Ingham where he grew to manhood.
September 10, 1929, he was united in marriage to Lola Beerman. They made their home on a farm near Ingham. To this union were born four children: Richard, who died in infancy, Betty, Larry, and Creta.
In 1932, Mr. and Mrs. Wilmeth moved to a farm northwest of Farnam and lived in that community until 1940, when they moved to a farm south of Maxwell, where the family made their home up to the time of his passing.
Howard is survived by his wife, three children, his mother, Mrs. Nettie Wilmeth of Gothenburg; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Haynes of Gothenburg and Mrs. L. D. Robinson of Bertrand; three brothers, Dale of Welllfleet, Dwight of Lincoln, and Paul of Portland, Oregon. His father Howard H. Wilmeth and two sisters, Dorothy and Irma preceeded him in death.
Funeral services were Saturday afternoon at the Farnam Methodist Church with Rev. L.D. Compton officiating and under the direction of the Hugo and McVay funeral home. Burial was in Farnam Cemetery.
