Ray O. Williams, the youngest child of Eliza and E. C. Williams was born on a farm near Lexington, Nebraska, February 22, 1894. He attended country school.

In 1916 he moved to Colorado where he was engaged in farming and where he married and raised a family of one daughter, Irla, and one son, George.

Ray Williams returned to Farnam in 1941 settling at Farnam where he lived until failing health forced him to enter a care home. He passed away at a hospital in Gothenburg, Nebraska, June 20, 1968, at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 28 days.

He is survived by his daughter, Irla Goetschel of Fort Morgan, Colorado, a son, George Williams of Brush, Colorado; two brothers, Bert and Ed both of Farnam, Nebraska and many nieces and nephews.
