Madie Widick, 57, a lifelong resident of Farnam, died April 20, 1998, at Gothenburg.

She was born Aug. 3, 1940, at Farnam to Clifford Sr. and Elma Rosenfelt Nickerson. She graduated from Farnam High School in 1958.

On Aug. 30, 1959, she married Ralph G. Widick in Farnam.

Mrs. Widick is survived by her husband of Farnam; a daughter, Karmen Widick of Brainard; a son, Gregg of North Bend; a sister, Barb Sherlock of Gothenburg; a brother, Cliff Jr. (Pearl) Nickerson of North Platte; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial has been established.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Farnam United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Art Phillips and Eugene Beye officiating. Burial will be in the Farnam Cemetery.
