Grover C. Widick of Farnam passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 1975, at Gothenburg Memorial Hospital. Born July 5, 1885, at Warrensburg, Illinois, he was 90. Mr. Widick was a long-time resident of the Farnam community.

He is survived by a daughter, Elaine, Mrs. Wayne Williams of Farnam; three sons: Orvale, Ellis and Maurice, all of Farnam; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Friday afternoon, Dec. 26th at 2:30 at the First United Methodist Church of Farnam, conducted by Pastor Harold Ellis of the Farnam Church of the Nazarene. Casket Bearers were Ralph Widick, Frank Widick, Douglas Widick, Andrew Widick, Bruce Widick, Reynolds Widick, Dan Widick, Ronald Williams, and Rick Williams. Interment was in the Farnam Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of McVay Memorial Chapel.
