The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Will VanMatre of Ingham, Nebr., died Tuesday, January 29, 1918, after a few hour’s illness.

Mr. and Mrs. Van Matre are strangers here, having moved from Beaver City, Nebraska a short time ago, and the unexpected death was a shock to the parents. Wayne Leonard VanMatre was born in Beaver City, Neb. Oct. 26, 1917 and died Jan. 29, 1918, age three months and three days.

The funeral services were held in their home at Ingham, Jan. 30, conducted by Rev. T. E. Gillet, pastor of the Methodist church at Farnam. Interment was made in the Farnam cemetery.

These young people have the sympathy of the neighbors and friends in their hour of sadness.
