Obituary of Mrs. Thrasher

Deeply do we regret that it falls to us this week to chronicle the death of Mrs. A. B. Thrasher which occured at the St. Francis hospital in Grand Island, April 26.

Although Mrs. Thrasher had been sick a greater part of the winter, her friends had never realized the seriousness of her condition.

She was taken to Grand Island April 21, and underwent an operation for gall stones Wednesday morning. Death interceeded with her suffering Friday morning at 10:30.

An unusually large crowd attended the funeral Sunday, each and all a heartfelt mourner with those who had lost. The thirty seven beautiful bouquets were each a tender memory of a friend. Personal cards were mailed to those who sent, and if anyone was missed in this way they have the deepest appreciation of the family for their act of kindness.
