Mrs. Clyde Thompson died on November 9, 1910 at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Messersmith in Frontier County, about three o'clock Tuesday morning after a short illness.

Mrs. Thompson came down from McPherson County a couple of weeks ago for a visit with relatives and was taken sick immediately after arriving here. Her death is ascribed, by attending physicians, to cancers. Mr. Thompson was sent for and arrived Wednesday of last week but nothing could be done to save her life.

Christena Messersmith was born in Gage County on July 6, 1883 to Thomas Jefferson and Angeline (Henness) Messersmith. She was married to Clyde Eldon Thompson on December 28, 1905. A son, Thomas Dwight, age eighteen months preceded her in death on April 18, 1910. She leaves her husband, Clyde and one little four year old boy, Eldon; her parents and several brothers and sisters to mourn her loss.

Services were held at the T.J. Messersmith home yesterday morning conducted by Rev. W. E. Palmer. Interment was made in the cemetery at Farnam, Nebraska. The funeral was largely attended.

Mr. Thompson has the sympathy of many friends in the loss of his companion.
